We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Brazil. The day-to-day
Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software alongside the team.
Document software to contribute to the product legacy.
Participate in technical meetings with the team and with customers.
Contribute to product roadmap discussions.
Assist in the quality assurance process through code reviews, automated tests, and customer feedback.
Work on fast-paced projects using brand-new technology and applied research.
What you’ll need
Proven experience with software languages.
Intermediate practical application in Javascript, React, Java, Python, or a JVM language (e.g., Kotlin).
Candidates with a BA degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience, are encouraged to apply.
Strong passion for excellence and continuous learning.
Interest and ability to learn other technologies and coding languages as needed.
What will help you on the job
Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
Understanding of the HTTP protocol, JSON, and Web APIs.
Experience with Linux operating systems.
Proficiency in automated testing.
Comfortable with version control systems (Git, in our case).
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Ability to work autonomously.
Proficiency in English.
