What you’ll do
Help to define Software Architecture;
Deliver code and submit to peer review;
Learn and evolve from peer code review;
Backend and Frontend code development (intermediate bugs, mid criticity components);
Assist in the technical meetings with the team and/or projects planning;
Responsible for the code review and tests;
Responsible for the code review and small tests (small bugs, low criticity components);
Advocate for quality; ensure features and improvements are secure, well-tested, resilient, performant and highly available;
Support and implement security protocols, observability and automation; actively engage process and efficiency improvements;
Code optimization to make it more efficient when needed;
When finding bugs propose an action plan for correction;
Autonomy to understand major features, clear doubts and implement code and tests;
The day-to-day
Participate in the technical meetings with the team and with customers;
Contribute on product roadmap discussions;
Help on the quality assurance process, through code reviews, automated tests and customer feedback;
Work on fast-paced projects using state of the art technology and applied research.
What you’ll need
English speaker;
A minimum 3 years of professional experience using Javascript, React, Java or Python or a JVM language (ex. Kotlin)
Experience with any Linux operating system
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
What will help you on the job
Interest and ability to learn other technologies and coding languages as needed;
Familiarity with databases (Mysql, PostgreSQL, MongoDB);
Familiarity with the HTTP protocol, JSON and Web APIs;
Familiarity with Linux;
Automated testing;
Comfortable use of version control systems (git, in our case);
