What you’ll do
Join Viasat as a Technical Support Engineer and be a key player in our 24/7 operations. Your role will involve handling the incident life cycle, diagnosing application issues, and collaborating with various teams on availability, performance, and emergency response.
The day-to-day
Viasat is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support Engineer specializing in Linux to join our dynamic 24/7 support team in Brazil. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation of our innovative technologies, providing expert-level support to our clients. You will collaborate with a hard-working team to solve sophisticated issues, optimize system performance, and deliver exceptional customer service. What you’ll need
Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science (or similar field of study), completed or enrolled
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
English speaker
Understanding of Linux
Basic knowledge in MySQL
Ability to work in a 24/7 rotating schedule
Previous work experience (minimum 1 year)
Brazilian Citizenship Required
