At GrupoNeiva, as a QA Automation Engineer, I led the automation of a project from scratch, selecting technologies and developing skills in web test automation with Selenium and mobile with Appium. I reviewed and analyzed workflows and specifications for a web and mobile educational system, performing manual and automated regression testing, and generating risk and impact reports. I used tools like Cypress, Appium, Selenium, Maestro, and Cucumber for automated testing and employed the BDD model for manual tests, following agile methodologies like SCRUM.I conducted code reviews to ensure client specification compliance, documented defects, and created detailed bug reports forwarded to development teams for early diagnosis and resolution, applying shift-left testing. I also led post-release and implementation testing to ensure continuous quality.Although my experience with Java and Selenium was brief, I worked for several months on a project in an educational technology company, focusing on automation for hybrid mobile applications integrated with web services. My automated flows included scenarios where the application redirected to a web page to continue the process. My interaction with developers, POs, and leadership was always respectful and collaborative. Despite being a junior QA without direct QA leadership, I performed my duties effectively and was eventually transitioned to a project using Cypress with JavaScript, where I advanced further due to my prior experience with Cypress.Throughout my role, I balanced my QA automation duties by reporting identified issues and creating user stories and reports for tech leads and managers to keep them aware of risks. I uncovered many critical bugs, such as system failures in the production environment, reinforcing my self-perception as a full-stack QA professional. My commitment to continuous improvement and quick learning was pivotal in successfully delivering high-quality educational solutions at GrupoNeiva.
During my 3 years and 6 months at VIRTUS, I gained comprehensive experience in end-to-end testing, from requirements analysis to automation using Cypress and Protractor. As a QA Analyst, I participated in multiple projects that solidified my skills in both manual QA and automation. In the initial project, I was involved in the early stages where documentation was still being developed. I collaborated with the QA team to analyze requirements, submit corrections to the Product Owner, and model test cases using tools like Coggle and Draw.io. We managed our activities using an internal tool similar to Jira for bug logging, test planning, and execution, and presented detailed reports at the end of each sprint to the entire team. In a subsequent critical project, I contributed to the development of an internal management system designed to facilitate project hiring, meeting scheduling, form submissions, and performance feedback collection. I worked independently as the sole QA on this project, supervised by a senior QA, ensuring comprehensive system validation and successful delivery of all project stages. My technical expertise includes using Cypress and Protractor for test automation, conducting API tests with Postman and pytest, and creating detailed bug and sprint reports. My ability to document functionalities and test results, producing comprehensive reports for audits and compliance, was a key aspect of my role. Throughout my time at VIRTUS, I demonstrated a strong commitment to continuous improvement and quick learning. My experience in both manual and automated QA, combined with effective analysis, documentation, and communication skills, has prepared me to tackle new challenges and contribute to the quality and resilience of information systems. I am eager to leverage my skills and experience in future opportunities, aiming to drive excellence in software quality assurance.
