Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Accessories Designer with a focus on belts and experience with licensing to join our team. This role involves designing belts and creating detailed tech packs, with a focus on construction, intricate details, and sizing. As we embark on developing a new belt line, we need someone who can bring their expertise and creativity to our exciting projects for Disney and Marvel, catering to all age ranges and genders.

Qualifications

Proven experience in belt design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.In-depth knowledge of belt construction, detailing, and sizing.Proficiency in creating tech packs and understanding of manufacturing processes.Creative flair with the ability to design for a wide range of styles and audiences.Proven experience with licensed products and knowledge of the licensing process and guidelines.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team and external partners.Passion for Disney and Marvel properties is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design a variety of belts for Disney and Marvel licenses, ensuring they meet brand guidelines and appeal to diverse demographics.Create detailed tech packs for each design, including specifications on materials, construction, sizing, and intricate details.Collaborate closely with the factory to develop accurate samples that reflect the design intentions.Work alongside the team to brainstorm and develop new belt concepts and ideas.Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to ensure our designs are fresh and competitive.Assist in the overall product development process, from initial concept to final production.Technical Knowledge & Hard Skills

Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Main Tools to Manage During Work Relation
